Meet the Choir
Our non-profit choir has been contributing to the vitality of North Shore and Vancouver performing arts since 2002. Under the artistic direction of Anita Comba, we bring an opportunity to experience the joy of singing and performing professional concerts. Encouraging participation in a creative musical environment, we aim to enrich the lives of audiences and choristers.
This forty voice ensemble offers interested choral singers an opportunity to explore the large spectrum of genres and traditions. The diverse repertoire includes contemporary arrangements, classical pieces, Canadian composers and folksongs from various cultures. Espiritu's flexibility and technical skill has won them a loyal and enthusiastic following who appreciate their polished and entertaining performances.
Espiritu has been guests at benefit concerts and fundraisers and has also had the opportunity to perform the Faure Requiem with the Lion’s Gate Sinfonia Orchestra to round out their classical skills.
